Walker or Sitter? How to Know What Your Dog Actually Needs

1 min read

This is one of the most common questions we get, and the honest answer is: it depends on your dog's day, not just your schedule.

A dog walker is probably the right fit if:

•       Your dog has plenty of energy and needs a real walk, not just a yard break

•       You're gone for a standard workday and want consistent midday exercise

•       Your dog does fine alone at home but gets restless without a walk

A pet sitter (drop-in visits) is probably the better fit if:

•       Your pet is more independent, older, or lower-energy

•       You have a cat, small animal, or multi-pet household that needs feeding and a check-in more than a walk

•       Your dog is anxious about strangers and does better with short, calm visits instead of a leashed outing

Not sure where to begin? That's perfectly normal. Share your pet's personality and daily routine with us, and we will assist you in determining which service suits best or if a combination of both is the most sensible option.
